As per the UP PCS Exam Pattern and UPPSC ACF Exam Pattern, the Prelims Exam contain Two Papers i.e General Studies I that contain 150 Questions and General Studies II (CSAT) that contain 100 Questions. Each Paper contains 200 Marks and the time duration is 2 Hours. The preliminary exam is an Objective type. Whereas in the Mains Exam, Six Compulsory Papers and Two Optional Papers are there. Except for General Hindi and English all other Papers contain 200 Marks and those two paper contain 150 Marks. The time offered for each Paper is 3 Hours. There is Negative Marking i.e 0.33 for every wrong answer opted by the candidate in the Preliminary Examination. So, give importance to both UPPSC PCS Syllabus of Prelims, Mains Exam.
