The total marks for the prelims exam are 600 marks. 150 questions will be asked in the exam. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The candidate must make a plan for the BSSC CGL Exam. In the main, examination, the candidate must attempt paper-1 and paper-2. In paper-1 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks. In paper-2, 250 questions will be asked for 700 marks. Prelims examination time duration is 2 hours 15 minutes. Each question will be carrying 4 marks. In the mains examination, there will be 3 sections in mains BSSC CGL Mains paper-2. The time duration for Paper-1 in the main examination is 2 hours 15 minutes and the paper-2 time duration is 2 hours 15 minutes.
