BSSC CGL Exam Pattern Details are mentioned below in a tabular format. The exam pattern includes no. of questions, no. of marks, and time duration of the exam. The total marks for the prelims exam are 600 marks. 150 questions will be asked in the exam. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The candidate must make a plan for the BSSC CGL Exam. In the main, examination, the candidate must attempt paper-1 and paper-2. In paper-1 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks. In paper-2, 250 questions will be asked for 700 marks. Prelims examination time duration is 2 hours 15 minutes. Each question will be carrying 4 marks. In the mains examination, there will be 3 sections in mains BSSC CGL Mains paper-2. The time duration for Paper-1 in the main examination is 2 hours 15 minutes and the paper-2 time duration is 2 hours 15 minutes.
