As per the UPPCL ARO Exam Pattern, there are Three Parts in the Exam. Part I comprises Computer Knowledge which is given for 50 Marks by placing 50 Questions. That means every question contains 1 Mark. But the qualifying marks of Paper I is just 20 marks.
Whereas in Paper II, General Hindi, General English of Intermediate Standard contains 70 Questions for 70 Marks each, the remaining two subjects are General Studies with 20 questions for 20 marks and Logical Reasoning for 40 Marks by placing 40 questions. The maximum Time of Paper-II is 2 Hours and total marks are 200.
Note: Both Paper I, II is of objective type and for every wrong answer there is a penalty of 0.25 Mark.
Part 3 is nothing but a Typing test with a Maximum of 5 Minutes and candidates are tested with English and Telugu Typing Language Speed.
